The Boatel was the most unique place I stayed during my trip. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The host is a gem! Being close to the city center is a benefit, and so is being put to bed and woken by the same quacking duck! Priceless!

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the historical center. the rooms are a decent size, as are the bathrooms, so you won't feel cramped. the owner is personable and very helpful, providing a map and recommending enjoyable walks. Breakfast is plentiful and the eggs are cooked to order. the rooftop seating area offers a nice spot to relax after a day of exploring.
The wifi signal on the rooftop deck was not strong enough for a reliable connection.

The boat had a unique and charming atmosphere, with a personal touch in its decoration. The setting by the canal was peaceful and provided a lovely view. The owner was welcoming and helpful, offering local knowledge and making my stay enjoyable.
As it was a boat, there was limited space for luggage. the location was a bit far from the main tourist sites, requiring a 20-minute walk to reach them.

The location is very good for exploring the city center on foot, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. the room was comfortable and spacious, with memory foam beds and tasteful decor. the bathroom was surprisingly large for a boat. the breakfast included delicious pastries and bread. the owner provided a parking pass and was welcoming and friendly.
The water from the shower had a strange smell reminiscent of geothermal hot water in Iceland.
